Christmas Tree
A Christmas tree itself similarly holds no biblical significance. The Christmas tree can act as a symbol. Many have said that it symbolises hope and everlasting life (as it is an evergreen tree). Sometimes ornaments are placed on Christmas trees to remind us of the biblical events in the bible – eg. the star on top of the tree reminds us of the star that led the wise men who followed a heavenly star that led them to Jesus right after His birth. However, the Christmas tree itself holds no religious meaning. It was purely decorative – similar to balloons and confetti during a party.
